“For five spooky hours on October 27th the first annual Barktoberfest at Founders Park will be a Howlaween Wonderland for your children and furry four-legged family members.
But, there’s more. You can help by becoming a hero and save homeless and abused animals in our community by participating in The Monster Dash Glow Walk. You and your kids can bring along your best furry friend and walk around Founders Park to help save animals lives byregistering and raising money for these animals that need our help. Whether you decide to champion alone or form a pack with friends, your fundraising efforts will make a huge difference for animals not only in Washington County, but in the surrounding communities as well.
Your hard work and generosity will give animals a second chance at happiness. Your support allows us to spay and neuter homeless animals, which helps reduce pet overpopulation that we see every day in shelters. You will also be providing much needed medical assistance for critically injured orphaned and homeless cats and dogs who need immediate attention, yet have nowhere else to turn.
In addition to The Monster Dash walk there will be live entertainment, a Halloween costume contest, face painting, Bark or Treat Village, a puppy bowl, canine demonstrations, boardwalk games, and Barking Vendor Village where we will be selling our very own Barktoberfest Beer specially crafted by JRH Brewing.
